Nobody in their right mind would ever let a skunk into their house, because skunks stink and they will cause a house to stink. And if we don’t allow stinky creatures into our homes, why would anyone think that God would allow them into His. That’s why there are no spiritual skunks in heaven. A spiritual skunk is anyone who sins. And as we will see in today’s lesson in Revelation, spiritual skunks will have no part in the kingdom of heaven, but instead they will find their place in “the lake which burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death!”
