Today we will take a look at one of the most tragic stories in the Bible: the story of how Adam and Eve’s first son Cain killed his younger brother Abel. It is a story that has played itself out over and over again over the centuries as those who follow “the way of Cain” have always persecuted those who follow “the way of Abel.” As we look at this text In Genesis 4, we’ll explore the theology both of those “ways” symbolize and learn how foundational they are to the understanding of the true Christian faith.
