In today’s text in Exodus 17 we will be introduced to one of those great names for the Lord: Jehovah Nissi which means, “The Lord is my banner. It’s His flag that I fly when I go to battle. He is the one I fight for.” When we fight under His banner the victory is sure, because “the battle belongs to the Lord!”
