An Old-Fashioned Christmas – Micah 5:2

An Old-Fashioned Christmas – Micah 5:2

A couple of children were singing their favorite Christmas song. “Silent Night,” when the little boy concluded the song with the words, “Sleep in heavenly beans.”  “No,” his sister cried out, “it’s not beans, you should be singing ‘Sleep in heavenly peas!’” Both children were confused about the meaning of “Silent Night,” just as many adults are confused about the real meaning of Christmas.

In today’s message, we’ll be looking at the meaning of the season in the context of an old-fashioned Christmas-the Christmas fashioned of old by the Lord Himself. We should come away from our study not only with a better understanding of the significance of this holiday, but also with an answer to the question of why we celebrate Christmas when we do on December 25.

MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS AS YOU CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD!
