This year’s winner of the World Series, the Boston Red Sox, haven’t always been as successful as they are now. In fact, from 1918 to 2004, they did not win a World Series. That period of time is known by Red Sox fans as The Curse of the Bambino. The curse was based on the superstition that the team jinxed itself by selling their star player Babe Ruth (the Bambino), to the New York Yankees in 1919.
The mythical Curse of the Bambino can’t even be compared to the real curse God made on His creation when Adam and Eve rebelled in the Garden of Eden. Today we will take a look at that curse and its impact on mankind these last 6000 years, and we will also look at how the Lord plans to reverse it through Jesus Christ.
