Genesis 19:1-14 – Righteous Lot and the Cost of Worldliness

Genesis 19:1-14 – Righteous Lot and the Cost of Worldliness

Lot, the main character in Genesis 19, serves as a great example of a carnal believer. He loved his present world, but at the same time He had real faith in God and heaven, and so in the New Testament we are assured that he was saved. But his carnality came at a heavy price, and we will learn about what it cost him as today we study his rescue from Sodom’s impending destruction. And the costs of Lot’s carnality are the same as ours, so this lesson has “Lot’s” of application for all of us.
