2 Peter 3:8-13 – Are We There, Yet?

2 Peter 3:8-13 – Are We There, Yet?

We are told on several occasions in the Bible that we should be longing for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ—and I think most of us do. But have you ever pondered why God delays His coming and His judgment on a wicked world. People have wondered about that for centuries. But just think if he had come in the Nineteenth Century, none of us would be saved. As Peter will remind us in today’s text, the reason the Lord seems slow in His coming is that “He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance!”
