I’m sure you have heard the old idiom,“warts and all.” It refers to a way of describing someone by not only mentioning their merits, but also their shortcomings. In today’s lesson, we’ll see a spiritual wart in Abraham’s character as he and Saria demonstrate their impatience and doubt as they take the matter of having a son into their own hands.
Abram is not the only biblical character described “warts and all;” They all are, and that’s good news for us, because if God only saved “super-saints,” none of us would make the grade!
