When Moses was up on Mount Sinai, he asked the Lord to show him His glory. God answered Moses’ prayer, but He only showed Moses His back and not His face. The Apostle John was much more privileged than Moses, because as we will see in today’s study, John was given a vision of God, and it wasn’t of His back; it amounted to a full frontal view of the Lord. Today as we come to Revelation 1:13-16, John will share His vision with us, and I pray that God will open up our spiritual eyes so that we can experience as much of this vision of Himself as is possible!
