John gives us this amazing promise in today’s text that “whatever we ask of God, we already know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” Now I don’t know about you, but I don’t always get what I ask of God. But the problem isn’t with God’s promise, it is with me–There are conditions for getting prayers answered that I don’t always meet. We will examine those conditions in today’s study so that we can be sure that are the kind of Christians who are getting our prayers answered.
