If you listen to a lot of pastors out there, you would get the idea that God is like a genie that we carry around in a bottle to call upon whenever we have a need in our lives. And if He doesn’t meet our needs when we want, the way we want, then we’re ready to toss Him aside.
In today’s text, Jude is going to warn us against becoming people who view God as nothing more than “a god of convenience.” He will also show us how to spot those who have been so deceived and the false teachers who have deceived them.
