As we come back to chapter four of Revelation, the apostle John is going to describe for us just what he saw as he entered the very throne room of God. Obviously, he didn’t have a cell phone or a camera with him as he went through heaven’s door, but still the verbal descriptions he gives us of what he saw serve as some very enlightening snapshots of heaven. Today we will get a snapshot of the throne of God and the halo above His throne and another snapshot of the 24 elders seated on thrones around His throne. These aren’t just pictures to be admired; these are pictures with great meaning and implications for us all!
