Solomon wisely said in Ecclesiastes 1:9: “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.” The main meaning of that fascinating statement is that people don’t change by themselves. And so the evil things that have been done in the past will be done over and over again in the future. For there is “nothing new under the sun.”
In today’s lesson we will examine the sins of Noah and Ham, sins which foreshadow two of the greatest sins that will be committed by their descendants after them. As we look at their sins, we will see that Noah’s sin won’t condemn someone for eternity, but Ham’s very well might!
